Those times when you stumble upon the unexpected are often the most rewarding of experiences. This was one of those times, setting off on a walk only to discover shortly into the few hour return journey a plethora of fungi strewn along the trackside. Obviously it took another hour to cover the few hundred meters of rainforest these fungi inhabit. It certainly instils a sense of expecting the unexpected and that sometimes just getting out the door is all that is needed to allow for the spontaneous formation of an adventure.
